Between all the big-ass IPAs and sweet Belgian Blondes crowding NorCal taps it\u2019s oh so refreshing to mix it up with a nice Brown Ale once in a while. Especially when it\u2019s a big-ass, malty-sweet version from Lagunitas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wilco Tango Foxtrot<\/strong> doesn’t disappoint as a self-proclaimed “Malty, Robust, Jobless Recovery Ale<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

WTF<\/strong> pours a ruby, ruddy brown with a thick, frothy head. Beer geeks will know it’s based on<\/span> similar to <\/em>their one-off brew Ryan\u2019s Folly<\/strong>; only with less hops on the front end. Instead the flavor is of toasty, crystal malts. Big but balanced. And not too sweet. No, we’re not out of the woods just yet.<\/p>\n

Look for these bombers on shelves in the coming weeks!<\/p>\n
