French duo The D\u00f8<\/strong> (say ‘dough’) finally got their 2008 breakout\u00a0A Mouthful<\/em> issued stateside. With the track’s sassy-girl vocals and all its hand-clappery, I dare you not to shimmy. Death Vessel<\/strong> has one of the prettiest female voices I’ve ever heard from a dude. Yes, a dude. And it’s a song from five years ago. So if you haven’t already, seek out\u00a0more of their tunes<\/a>. This new Club 8<\/strong> is almost as afro-infectious as\u00a0the track posted in Feb<\/a>. Fellow Swede (by way of Argentina) Jos\u00e9 Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> and his on-again off-again trio Junip<\/strong> is offering a free EP<\/a> just for joining their mailing list. Not bad.\u00a0The set finishes out with an aching little\u00a0ditty from Norwegian Ane Brun<\/strong> circa 2002.<\/p>\n
