Growing up in Chicago<\/strong> there were two exotic TV treats I remember fondly beyond Son of Svengoolie<\/strong>\u2014Battle Of The Planets<\/a> and Spectreman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The \u00fcber-cheap,\u00a0Ultraman<\/strong> knockoff had such horrible effects, I couldn’t not<\/em> watch it and be mesmerized. And the soundtrack? Try not to get it stuck in your head. Spectreman!<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
