Why? To help decorate a library and Internet Learning Center in Loita, Kenya. I know a few of you could drink enough to cover a whole wing in a weekend.<\/h2>\n

I ran into this guy at The Belgian Room<\/a> in the Lower East Side last week. He was the first guy I’ve met\u2014in any city\u2014who’s paper cup pleaded for bottle caps instead of cash. It’s all part of a larger effort (see video below), but in short the women of the Maasai<\/strong> tribe, who are known for their intricate bead work, will be using the bottle caps to create designs that will make this new building a piece of cultural art as well as a place of learning.
