This is the most Willy Wonka-ian concoction I have ever experienced.<\/p>\n
Found at\u00a0Dobby’s liqours<\/a> in Palatine, IL. Not far from the\u00a0funeral home with the miniature golf course in basement<\/a>.<\/p>\n Starting with the aroma, my sister Pam described it best, \u201c\u2026 like it\u2019s been sitting out in an old pizzeria and sucked up all the smells<\/em>.\u201d But in a good way.<\/p>\n The taste is where it gets all Wonka-y. Remember the three-course-dinner gum that turned Violet into a giant blueberry? This is like the pizza-breadsticks-and-a-beer version. First, your tongue is smacked with the unmistakable tang of tomato. Then the spicyness of basil and oregano. Followed by chewy garlicky breadsticks. Finished with a borderline-flat beer finish. Crazy. I\u2019m still waiting to morph into a giant tomato.<\/p>\n Mamma Mia Pizza Beer<\/strong> is brewed by Sprecher Brewing<\/strong> (maker of \u00a0my favorite craft root beer) from the “Original Seefurth Family Recipe”.
