Much to dig … Killer Nuggets-y rock from Mind Spiders (ex-Marked Men). Super trio Middle Brother brings the type of rootsy harmonies you expect (and love) from ex-Dawes, Deer Tick, Delta Spirit members. Ex-Vivian Girls singer Katy Goodman goes off on her own for a sweet La Sera. Panda Bear helps Ducktails ready for a new LP. Shout out to MattO for getting the Kordan jam lodged in my head and stuck on repeat. Finally a 3-day, lazy weekend bonus track from The Poison Tree will bring undeniable National comparisons but the duel male/female vocals give ’em a little something special. Influences aside, it’s a wonderful track. Enjoy thoroughly.
