For the 1st annual PetalumaRivertown Revival festival at Steamer Landing Park there was a loose river monster (which was later caught … see below), viking ships, SRL robots, Lagunitas, deep-fried pickles, and killer handmade crafts. If you missed it, you really missed out. One more reason to love this crazy-ass town.

First there was the human-sized Gundam. Now, three years later, a life-sized Gundam! Currently towering over Shiokaze Park on Tokyo’s Odaiba Island. It’s the first event of three major events planned for the Gundam 30th Anniversary by toymaker Bandai.
Saturday was the RoboGames 2009 fundraiser partay at Lagunitas in Petaluma. The highlight, 2nd to all-you-can-drink beer, was crowd-pleasin’ robot “Beer Bash”; made from a half-keg of, you guessed it, Lagunitas.
