This is sweet.
It would be even cooler if it was the whole truth. This leaves out a very important aspect to this whole debacle: a lot of government tinkering. From Carter to Clinton to Reno, pressuring banks to give out loans to those who can’t afford it, which created the sub prime loan market. Then Dodd and Frank who resisted any, ANY, efforts to regulate Fanny Mae & Freddie Mack from making these loans drove us straight into this crappy housing market.
