Arcade Fire: 8 Suburbs Covers and 4 Tracks

Why is Arcade Fire releasing The Suburbs with eight not-so-different album covers? Pitchfork thinks it’s commentary on the suburbs themselves. I think it’s commentary + shrewd marketing towards music completionists like myself. Damnit.

Trailer: Spike Jonze’s Where The Wild Things Are

This trailer did two things for me: 1) Got me giddy-as-a-schoolgirl to see the flick, 2) Reminded me what a fanfreakingtastic album Funeral is. I never forgot, but it has slipped in my rotation for sure.

Watch the trailer in HD at Apple. Peep the poster at The Movie Blog.
