I posted this tune back in a February Friday Five , but just read M. Ward will be offering his rendition of Joanna Newsom‘s Sadie for tribute compilation Versions of Joanna to benefit Oxfam. (via Pitchfork)
No word on if it’s a re-recorded version or this live take from a few years back.

M. Ward also contributed to another benefit, a triple-disk tribute to Led Zeppelin for First Octave, a group who helps provide the Portland Public School system funds for music. A fantastic cause.
