Gas & Growler: Sunoco Introduces Craft Beer Fill Up Stations
How progressive is NY? First gay marriage, now tap handles at gas stations
Sunoco just announced that several of their APlus stores in Western New York will now offer glass growler refills of craft beer in a test of what they’re calling The Craft Beer Exchange. The chain now has 14 taps at 11 of its 17 stores. At any given time, consumers have their choice of up to 132 different microbrews including Wailing Wench from Syracuse‘s Middle Ages Brewing Co and Rusty Chain from Buffalo‘s Flying Bison.
Not only is using growlers a more eco-responsible way to go from a reusability perspective, but it also makes more efficient use of your gas by eliminating one less driving destination. Nice, NY! Full Story (via BeerNews)
