Rock Out: KISS Launching Destroyer Beer
Continuing their Spaceballs-like history of merchandising—KISS the Beach Towel! The Lunchbox! The Ketchup!…— KISS has announced a line of KISS Destroyer Beer & Wine (via BeerNews). I really hoped they’d have some big event with a dancing Lynda Carter , but no dice. We get a press release.
About the beer: “…an easy-to-drink beer in the best German tradition! A careful brewing process creates its great head of foam, nice flavor, and a balanced bitterness, like an original ‘Pils’…” . But brewed in Sweden.
Paul Stanley added, “This stuff will set your taste buds on fire.”
Hopefully that means there’s patented KISS-powered pyrotechnics inside every drop, ‘cuz the 4.7% ABV isn’t gonna be lighting anything up anytime soon.
Destroyer Beer will launch in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, followed by Denmark, The Netherlands, and the UK. See the full release here.

This’ll be the second Pilsner beer KISS has released. The first being back in 1996 to promote their ALIVE/WORLDWIDE shows in Prague (via).
